Open your Terminal in your Ubuntu 18.04 or 20.04 or 22.04 or 24.04 Desktop
Follow the below steps :
1. First, Install the Java Jdk
$ sudo apt install openjdk-11-jdk
For New Version Android Studio
$ sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk
For Old Version Android Studio-4.0, 4.1, 4.2
2. Add the Android-Studio Repository
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:maarten-fonville/android-studio
3. Update the Apt Cache
$ sudo apt update
4. Install the Android-Studio
$ sudo apt install android-studio
Note : At the time I write this article, Android Studio 2021.2.1 is installed

You can check Android-Studio is installed or not in your ubuntu Desktop :
$ whereis android-studio
Desktop@Sondria46.info:~$ whereis android-studio
5. Launch the Android-Studio
Open your ubuntu short cut panel and search the android-studio and click on android-studio icon. That's it...
